Delete your Wadi Home account

You can ask us to delete your Wadi Home account and the personal data associated with it at any time.

What you need to do

Email privacy@wadihome.com from the email address on your Wadi Home account. In the message, include:

  • The subject line "Delete my account"
  • Your Wadi Home customer email (if it's different from the one you're writing from)

That's it. You do not need to open a support ticket or explain why — we will process the request either way.

What we delete

Within 30 days of your request:

  • Your Wadi Home customer account, including saved addresses, wishlist, and payment methods
  • Any analytics rows tied to your Shopify customer ID
  • The device identifiers our analytics stored for your app installs
  • Any support tickets or feedback you sent through the mobile app

You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion is complete.

What we keep

Some data is legally required to be kept longer:

  • Order records and invoices are retained for 7 years to satisfy Egyptian and Saudi tax and consumer-protection requirements. These records are separated from your personal profile.
  • Anonymised analytics aggregates (e.g. "10,000 people viewed Lighting in July") are not linked to any individual and remain in our dashboard.

Deleting the app is separate

Uninstalling the app removes the local Shopify sign-in tokens and your on-device cart, wishlist, and recently-viewed history stored on your phone. It does not automatically delete your Wadi Home account on the server — you still need to email us as above if you want the account itself removed.
